It would take days (in-game, so several hours) before I needed to swap cells. My Cyclops has been fine with the powercell chargers for quite a while now. I do not see how a few powercells charging would COMPLETLY DRAIN the cyclops from full power. The cells that I had put in the chargers were all about 60% when I put them in though. I had not used the fabricator during the trip. The growbeds do not consume power nor do lockers. I have a growbed, several lockers, a fabricator, and 3 powercell charges. I know for sure the power drain wasn't from the PRAWN docking so then I thought about my interior modules inside the Cyclops. The sub was 100% when I left my main base and the PRAWN had aabout 95% power when I docked back into the sub. My mining trip probably took no more than 15 minutes and I got into the Cyclops and the sub had 0 power. I brought the suit and my Cyclops over to the entrance, dropped down in the suit and mined 3 or 4 deposits of gold and lithium and then returned to the Cyclops. This makes getting the Cyclops to redefine how players approach problems in Subnautica. So I just recently found the Giant Blue Shroom caves with the worms and also just built my PRAWN suit. Required Materials: 3x Lead, 1x Lubricant, 3x Enameled Glass, 3x Plasteel Ingot, 1x Advanced Wiring Kit Cyclops Overview Image from Subnautica Fandom The Cyclops is a unique vehicle in Subnautica because it operates as both a submarine and a portable mini-base.
